Origami For Wellbeing

Origami, the art of paper folding, has been shown to have a number of benefits for mental health. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, as it requires concentration and can be a meditative activity.

It can also improve fine motor skills and increase feelings of accomplishment as one completes a project.

Origami can be a way to express creativity, and it can be a relaxing and enjoyable activity.

Some people find that it helps them to clear their mind and unwind after a busy day.

In addition, origami can be a social activity, as it can be done with others or shared with others once a project is completed.

This is a great experience to go through with teams and can be delivered online or in-person.

I have a fun workshop where we make the world record-holding paper plane. The design was created by John Collins and thrown by Joe Ayoob, and set the Guinness World Record in California in 2012. The world record was beaten in December 2022! Yes it was! And in fact it was beaten in April 2022 as well. So if you would like to learn to make the third-longest distance flown by a paper plane, I'm your gal!
